These terms are the agreement between you and Zeed. They matter most in one respect: Zeed introduces buyers and sellers, but the trade itself is a contract between the two of you.

The short version
Zeed is an introduction platform. The purchase contract is between the buyer and the seller — Zeed is not a party to it.
A verified badge means we checked documents at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of quality, solvency or performance.
Paid plans are invoiced manually and never renew automatically — nothing is charged to you without a new invoice you choose to pay.
1.These terms, and your acceptance of them
Zeed is operated by Zimam Alriyada Company, commercial registration 7052171647, registered at Building 7930, King Abdul Aziz Ibn Abdulrahman Al Saud Branch Road, Al Sahafah District, Unit 4497, Riyadh 13321, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. By creating an account, listing a product, requesting a quote, or otherwise using Zeed, you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent.
If you do not accept them, do not use the platform. These terms are published in English and Arabic; where the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
2.What Zeed is — and what it is not
Zeed is a business-to-business marketplace for the food and beverage trade between Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf. We publish seller catalogues and storefronts, let buyers discover them, carry quote requests and orders between the two sides, and give both a place to talk and keep records.
Zeed is not a party to any trade concluded between a buyer and a seller.
We do not buy, sell, own, store or take title to any goods listed on the platform.
We are not the agent, broker, distributor or representative of either side, and we do not guarantee that any trade will complete.
We do not currently process payments for trades, hold funds in escrow, or issue invoices on a seller's behalf. Price, payment terms, delivery, insurance and incoterms are agreed directly between the parties.
We do not ship goods or clear customs. Where the platform records a carrier, tracking reference, customs status or SFDA status, that is information supplied by the parties — it is not a service we perform or warrant.
Each buyer and seller is responsible for its own due diligence, contracts, licences, import and export permits, food-safety compliance, insurance and tax.
3.Accounts and eligibility
Zeed is for registered businesses, not consumers. To hold an account you must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the organisation you sign up for.
The information you give at sign-up — company name, type, country and contact details — must be accurate and kept up to date.
Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything done through your account, and you must tell us immediately if you suspect it has been used without your permission.
When you invite colleagues to your organisation, you remain responsible for what they do on the platform, and for removing their access when they leave.
One organisation, one account. Creating duplicate accounts to inflate visibility, evade a suspension or bypass limits is not allowed.
You may close your account at any time. Some records — orders, invoices and accounting entries — are retained afterwards as the Privacy Notice explains.
4.If you sell on Zeed
Buyers make sourcing decisions on what you publish, so accuracy is a contractual obligation, not a courtesy:
Listings must be accurate and current — product name, description, country of origin, minimum order quantity, unit price, currency and images must describe what you can actually supply.
Honour the quotes you issue. A price and quantity you send in response to a request stands for the validity period you state, and if you state none, for seven days.
Hold and maintain every licence and registration your goods require — commercial registration, food-safety approvals, export licences, and SFDA registration where the goods enter Saudi Arabia.
Claims must be true and provable. Halal, organic, origin, shelf-life, certification and nutritional claims must be supported by documents you can produce on request.
Respond to enquiries within the time you advertise, and tell a buyer promptly if you cannot supply.
Do not list counterfeit, mislabelled, expired, recalled or prohibited goods, and do not use another company's brand, images or certificates.
You are responsible for the goods you supply, for delivering what was agreed, and for handling any defect, shortage or claim with the buyer directly.
5.If you buy on Zeed
Sellers commit stock and quoting time to your requests, so the same standard applies:
Send genuine enquiries. Requests placed to harvest prices, test competitors or collect contact details are a misuse of the platform.
Honour the orders you confirm, and pay the seller on the terms you agreed with them.
Carry out your own due diligence before you commit — samples, certificates, references and import requirements are your responsibility.
Reviews you publish must reflect a real order and be honest and specific. Do not use reviews to pressure a seller in a commercial dispute.
6.What “verified” means
A verified badge means that, at the time of review, Zeed looked at documents a seller submitted — such as commercial registration, licences and certificates — and found them consistent with the profile shown.
Verification is a documentary check at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of product quality, food safety, financial standing, ongoing licence validity, delivery performance, or fitness for your purpose.
Documents expire and circumstances change. Always carry out your own checks before you commit to a purchase. We may add, suspend or withdraw a badge at any time, and doing so does not by itself mean anything is wrong with the seller.
7.Plans, fees and billing
Buying on Zeed is free. Sellers can stay on the free plan or take a paid plan for more visibility and features. Billing is deliberately manual:
We invoice you, and you pay by bank transfer. Zeed does not store card details and does not take card payments.
There is no automatic renewal and no stored payment method. Nothing is ever charged to you without a new invoice you choose to pay.
Your plan runs until the paid-until date recorded on your account. If it is not renewed, the account simply reverts to the free plan — paid features stop, your data stays.
Fees are stated per period and are payable in advance. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refundable, including for a period you did not use in full.
We may change plan prices or contents. Changes take effect on your next renewal, and we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand.
If an invoice stays unpaid, we may mark the subscription past due and suspend paid features until it is settled.
Prices are exclusive of VAT and any other applicable tax unless stated otherwise. Our VAT registration number is 314324117200003, and tax invoices are issued in line with the applicable regulations.
8.Your content and the licence you give us
You keep ownership of everything you upload — listings, descriptions, photographs, logos, videos and documents. You confirm you have the right to use them and that they do not infringe anyone else's rights.
You grant Zeed a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and distribute that content on the marketplace, on your storefront, in search results and in Zeed's own promotional material, for as long as your account is open. Remove a listing and we stop using it, apart from copies kept in order records and backups.
9.Prohibited use
You must not use Zeed to:
Offer goods that are illegal, restricted or prohibited in the buyer's or seller's country, or that you are not licensed to trade.
Publish false, misleading or unsubstantiated claims about a product, a certificate, an origin or a company.
Impersonate another business or person, or misrepresent your relationship with a brand.
Infringe trademarks, copyright, designs or trade secrets.
Scrape, crawl, bulk-export or otherwise harvest listings, seller details or contact data, whether manually or by automated means.
Send spam or unsolicited marketing to users you met through the platform, or upload contacts into the CRM that you have no lawful basis to hold.
Probe, scan or test the security of the platform, bypass rate limits or authentication, or interfere with its normal operation.
Reverse engineer, copy or resell any part of the platform, or use it to build a competing service.
10.Availability and changes to the platform
We work to keep Zeed available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may be added, changed, moved behind a plan, or withdrawn, and maintenance may take the site offline for a period.
The platform, and any content on it supplied by users, is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11.Limitation of liability
Because Zeed is not a party to the trades arranged through it, we are not responsible for:
The quality, safety, legality, labelling or description of any goods, or a seller's failure to deliver them.
A buyer's failure to pay, or any dispute over price, quantity, terms or timing between the parties.
Delay, damage, loss, seizure, customs refusal or regulatory rejection in transit.
The accuracy of information a user publishes, including certificates, origin claims and licence details.
In no event is Zeed liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts or loss of goodwill. Our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid Zeed in that period, or SAR 1,000 if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12.Indemnity
You will indemnify Zeed against claims, losses, fines and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, from goods you supplied or bought, or from content you published on the platform.
13.Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account, remove a listing, or withdraw a verification badge in the cases below. Where circumstances allow, we tell you first and give you a fair chance to put things right:
these terms are breached, or we reasonably suspect fraud, misrepresentation or illegal activity;
we are required to act by a competent authority or by law;
an account has been dormant for a long period, or an invoice remains unpaid after we have chased it.
14.Disputes between users
If a trade goes wrong, raise it with the other party first — the order thread keeps a record of what was agreed. You can ask Zeed to help: we can share the order history, contact both sides and encourage a settlement. We are not an arbitrator, we do not adjudicate commercial disputes, and we cannot compel a payment or a delivery.
15.Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute between you and Zeed that cannot be settled amicably within 30 days will be submitted to the competent courts of Riyadh, without prejudice to any mandatory right you have to bring proceedings elsewhere.
16.Changes to these terms
We update these terms as the platform develops. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date shown at the top.
For material changes — anything affecting fees, liability or your core rights — we email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Zeed after that date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, close your account before then.
